Our Car
This is the HABS PowerStrike Car, "The Striker." Our builders have developed the car into what it is now, and you can sign up to our Newsletter to receive updates on the car.

Our Greenpower team was established, with roles being secured and plans being made. The website URL has been set up.
We started on the Nose Cone OnShape design, and the researches provided details about regulations and aerodynamics.
We came back from our summer holidays and added more pages to the website such as "What is Greenpower?"
We finished the back panelling of the car, and we finished the CAD design for the nose cone. The website has been completed. Videos about the car have been started
The panelling has been nearly completed, and sponsorship emails have been sent out, with responses coming in. We have made a model of the nose cone as well
The Nose Cone has been started in scale and the Research team has been moved to the Building team to help with the Car. The panelling has been completed
We came back from our Christmas break and continued our work on the hood. On the nose cone, it has been cut to the size from the OnShape design and fully completed.
The Nose Cone has been reshaped using files and saws. We have sent out more sponsorship emails as well as made significant progress with the back panel
We have secured sponsorships, as well as major progress in our Notebook. We have also changed the way HABS PowerStrike is run now that we are at the latter stages of our journey.
The blue vinyl wrap has been applied to our panels, with the panels having a yellow strip on the top as well. Drivers have taken tests to determine who will drive The Striker for the race.
Vinyls have been fully wrapped and completed. Decals have been planned in compliance with regulations and sponsors' wishes. Drivers have been selected and race suits have been ordered
Polycarbonate for the hood has arrived and we are in the process of moulding it for the hood. Decals have been ordered, thanks to our sponsors, as well as racing helmets and racing suits.
The hood has been moulded and completed, with blue and yellow vinyl stuck. The Nose Cone has been spray painted and clothing, mirrors and radios have been bought in preparation for the race.
